The ten questions
- What is the one-time admission or registration charge, and is any of it refundable?
- What is the annual charge, and what does it cover?
- What is the monthly tuition fee for my child's class, and is it paid monthly or quarterly?
- What is the transport fee for my area, and is it charged for the summer holidays?
- What do books, notebooks and stationery cost, and must they be bought from the school?
- What does the uniform cost, including the sports kit and winter uniform?
- Are there separate charges for labs, computers, activities, trips or exams?
- How much did fees rise last year?
- Is there a sibling concession?
- What is the refund policy if we withdraw mid-year?
Add it up for a full year
Ask for every answer in writing and add them up for twelve months. Compare the yearly total between schools, not the monthly tuition alone.
