Questions to ask any school hostel
- How many boys are there for each warden, and who is on duty at night?
- When are the study hours, and who supervises them?
- What is on the weekly menu? Ask to see the mess at mealtime.
- What happens if a child falls ill at night?
- What are the rules for visits, leave and phone calls home?
- Does the hostel fee include meals and laundry, or are they charged separately?
Hostel fees
The campus office shares the hostel fee along with the school fee schedule. Call the campus you are interested in, and ask to see the hostel when you visit.
